ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Jeff Talton is a Senior Director and founding member of Silver Oak Advisors. With 17 years of experience in commercial real estate, complex/industrial and personal property tax consulting services. Mr. Talton specializes in the representation of complex industrial manufacturing facilities, including personal property compliance, personal property and real estate consulting, pollution control exemptions and tax abatement analysis and review.

Mr. Talton is adept at creating out-of-the-box strategies for complex industrial companies that create significant tax savings with clients who have consistently been with him for many years throughout his career. He’s represented clients across the country in countless property tax hearings and informal hearing negotiation settlements. Mr. Talton also has been the personal property compliance practice leader for his former firm, as well as here at Silver Oak Advisors.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Prior to founding Silver Oak Advisors, Mr. Talton was a member of the complex properties practice at a national practice, and spent the earlier part of his career with the SALT practices of two Big Four national property tax practices. In addition, he was the Southeast Complex Properties Atlanta lead for another national practice and was the personal property specialist in the Southeast for industrial properties as well.
